If we are not rooted in the living streams of the Word, then we will run dry from the empty cisterns of the world. You see, only the Word of God can re-route wrong steps, fill the hole in the soul, and satisfy the appetites of the heart. "Blessed is the man who walks not...

Faith in Christ isn't a private preference but a public preservation, a public good. And if our faith is kept private, then faith's influence will be absent. Therefore, do not be ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, for it is the power of God to save and salvage the soul.

Darkness does not retreat on its own but only when light is shown. In other words, when light begins to flow, darkness begins to flee. Therefore, as the Son above, shine on. "Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you" (Isaiah 60:1).

There is no such thing as your truth or my truth, there is only God’s truth. And it would be wise to start with His Word in order to properly view this world. "Teach me Your way, O Lord, that I may walk in Your truth; unite my heart to fear Your name" (Psalm 86:11).

Truth does not bring division as much as it brings separation. You see, these are the days where God is separating those who believe His Word and bleed His Word from those who are just playing church. Truth separates and then sanctifies. "Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth" (John 17:17).

We are not supposed to let things go to hell. Not souls nor society. So like Jesus' death on the cross, our life should express, "over my dead body," as we stand for heaven on earth. "He himself bore our sins in His body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness..." (I Peter 2:24).
