We are called to be messengers of God’s Word, not editors of it. In other words, it is not our interpretation that matters but God's. We are simply called to say and relay what God has already said. "And they said to him, “We each have had a dream, and there is no interpreter of it.” So Joseph said to them, “Do not interpretations belong to God? Tell them to me, please”" (Genesis 40:8).
