This Christmas, let us marvel at the Child who breathed life into the world and gave His life so we could breathe the air of heaven. From His first breath in a manger to His last breath on the cross—each breath was taken with purpose. And ultimately, His final exhale was the fulfillment of His first inhale. "And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins" (Matthew 1:21). You see, the purpose of His birth was clear: to redeem. Jesus breathed His last so we could breathe our first--restored and reconciled to God. Let every breath we take today remind us of the gift of eternal life He gave us through His sacrifice.
