God’s breath suffocates death. At Jesus' birth, the angels proclaimed, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!” (Luke 2:13-14). This peace is not just the absence of conflict but the restoration of harmony between God and humanity through Christ. After His resurrection, Jesus fulfilled this promise of peace by appearing to His disciples and saying, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” Then He breathed on them, saying, “Receive the Holy Spirit” (John 20:21-22). His breath brings life, peace, and power, reminding us that through Him, we are filled with His Spirit and sent with His purpose.

We have the opportunity to begin our day with the eternal over the temporal. Because what we fill our minds with each morning not only sets the tone for the day ahead, but it covers what's ahead with what's above. And that is why a daily dose of Scripture isn't just a habit; it's life support. "Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly" (Colossians 3:16).

Today, remember that God has a certain purpose and plan for your life, even when circumstances seem uncertain. Trust in His providence and walk boldly in the hope He provides. "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11).

The power of the Holy Spirit isn't measured by how much you possess but by how much He possesses you. The more you surrender to His leading, the more His power works through you to transform your life and impact others. True spiritual growth begins when you let go of control and let Him take over. "Do not quench the Spirit" (1 Thessalonians 5:19).

God doesn’t task us to be successful, but He does ask us to be faithful. In every responsibility and challenge, His standard is not measured by accomplishments but by our trust and obedience. Thus, let us steward the gospel with diligence, relying on the Holy Spirit for our endurance. As Paul reminds us: "Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful" (1 Corinthians 4:2).‍

If we don’t hold fast to the truth of the Word, we will be held lost by the lies of the world. In a world full of distractions and deceptions, the only solid foundation is God's unchanging truth. Thus, let us guard the truth, knowing that in doing so, the truth will guard us. “But the word of the Lord endures forever" (1 Peter 1:25).
