GOD IS NOT TOLERANT, HE IS PATIENT

There is a huge difference between tolerance and patience. God isn't tolerant of sinners, He is patient with sinners. In other words, God is not tolerant of tolerance when it comes to sinfulness. In fact, when it comes to us and God, tolerance and repentance are often at odds. "The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9).
