When we learn to trust the Lord in the midst of our trials, those trials not only develop our character and deepen our convictions, but they can even be the doorway to our calling or career. You see, the perseverance of faith that is cultivated during these times prepares us for the unique paths God has planned for us. "And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope" (Romans 5:3-4).
