God is patient, but His patience is not without purpose. You see, just as the vineyard keeper pleaded for more time to tend to the barren fig tree, Jesus intercedes for us—digging around the soil of our hearts and applying the nourishment of His grace. Thus, let us not mistake God's patience for tolerance; He desires fruitfulness, not barrenness. Today, surrender to His work in you and through you. "‘Sir, let it alone this year also, until I dig around it and fertilize it.’” (Luke 13:8)
