HELPING THOSE LOST IN THEIR SINS

We cannot help someone who is lost in their sins by being angry with them. Nor can we help someone who is lost in their sins by affirming them. We must help them by simply being available for them and speaking the truth in love when the opportunity presents itself. "Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted" (Galatians 6:1).
