God desires all men to be saved but not all men desire the salvation of God. In other words, God's heart desires for men to want what He wants, but God will not force what He wants onto man who doesn't want it. His will is going to be done fully and finally when it is all said and done, but until then, would we pray for all men, knowing "this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth" (1 Timothy 2:3-4).
