A SEALED OR SEARED CONSCIENCE

The difference between a conscience that is sealed by the Holy Spirit versus a conscience that is seared by unholy spirits, is that a seared conscience leads to love growing cold and a sealed conscience leads to love growing bold. Truly, we are either growing bold in our love for the Lord and others or we are growing cold in those same areas. "Holding the mystery of the faith with a pure conscience" (1 Timothy 3:9); "Speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron" (1 Timothy 4:2).
