SIN CAUSES US TO COVER AND COWER

Like Adam and Eve covering themselves with fig leaves and hiding from the Lord in the Garden of Eden, so does sin in our lives cause us to cover and cower. And yet God did not leave us in this condition, but rather He chose to send His Son to come and offer a cure. You see, while the god of sin causes us to cover and cower, it is the Son of God who came to cover and cure. "Also for Adam and his wife the Lord God made tunics of skin, and clothed them" (Genesis 3:21).
