THE RIGHT PLEA--GET THIS TROUBLE OUT OF ME

The right plea to the Lord is not “get me out of this trouble” but “get this trouble out of me.” You see, we often pray for deliverance from trials, but we ought to pray for endurance to go through the trial, while at the same time, asking the Lord to develop our faith in the uncomfortable place. "My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience" (James 1:2-3).
