TRUTH OFFENDS AS A SCALPEL CUTS

Truth offends just as a scalpel cuts. Why? Because it goes against everything in our sinful nature and that is why we need to be cut deep by the truth. "Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, "Men and brethren, what shall we do?" (Acts 2:37)
