WHEN THE FEAR OF GOD IS GONE

When there is no longer a fear of God amongst people, there is no longer a sensibility about reality. In fact, without the knowledge of God, man is filled to the full with their own delusions. And those who remain sensible to the Word actually become detestable to the world. "Because they hated knowledge and did not choose the fear of the Lord, they would have none of my counsel and despised my every rebuke. Therefore they shall eat the fruit of their own way, and be filled to the full with their own fancies" (Proverbs 1:29-31).
