Everybody has an opinion, but how many people have true biblical conviction? There’s a huge gap between the two. People with opinions just post (or speak) to say something. People with conviction post (or speak) because they have something to say.
People with opinions follow the latest trending hashtag. They bow down to the popular opinion reshaping their thoughts, which are not even their own, but a counterfeit clone.
Conversely, people with biblical conviction follow the truth of Scripture, they are not persuaded by a hashtag, nor bow down to be politically correct because they are more concerned about being biblically correct.
This is a word of caution to the CHRISTIAN, because that’s the audience that should understand the difference between opinion and conviction. There are too many people that wear the name of Christ, yet their posts and opinions contradict the tenets of His life.
So just as I would call out my own blood family for misrepresenting my earthly father, that’s what the true believer does when he sees others misrepresent our Heavenly Father.
Word to the wise: pause before you post and ask yourself, “Will this post glorify the Lord and is this content aligned with His Word?”
