"HERE I AM" vs. "THERE YOU ARE"
Nothing long today, but strong in every way.  Not so wide either, but deep. It’s the difference between seed and sod.  It’s the contrast between root growing and surface showing.  It’s the polarized results of the “here I am” perspective and the “there you are” objective. One way leads to life, while the other way leads to strife.  Seed goes deep and pushes up from the inside out.  Sod starts at the top and suppresses down from the outside in.  One has roots and produces real growth, while the other is turf and is reduced to superficial birth.  One outfit is about being known and seen, while the other clothing is about seeing and sowing into a need.Sod is reputation and finding your worth in what you do.  Seed is character and discovering the value in who you are. God plants seed.  Man lays sod.  The difference rests in the landscape you choose.  I use to say “here I am” thinking it was all about self and making a reputation.  But now I say “there you are” in order to die to self and put on Christ-characterization.Seed or sod?  Because what you serve becomes your God!
