"i invite YOU in": THAT's a SHAME

My first Christmas home in about 5 years was a divine success.  And I hate to spoil anybody’s seasonal cheer, but it had nothing to do with decorations, gifts, nor festive celebrations. You see, my first Christmas in prison was just like this past Christmas in freedom.  How so?  Well, both centered on the massive peace of CHRIST, not the mass that only gives you a piece of Christ. No offense to anyone that reduce Jesus’ birth to a singular day.  However, if such a divine intervention were only confined to a day, then my time in “detention” would have defined who I am today….But it hasn’t and it never will!“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new” (II Corinthians 5:17).Basically, the divine Christ intervened on my dead life and gave me a brand new breath of life.  And I see each day as an opportunity to re-birth Him, that I may find my value in the worth of Him. With the Most High having my back, I am not afraid to face whatever is out front.  I’ll just keep moving in His influence over my life. That’s the difference and the reason why I don’t need sympathy with where I am in life.  Someone recently walked up to me and gave me “sad eyes” about how my life turned out. “That’s a shame” was the undertone of their perception, where as they assumed I’m going to need a hand-out to get my life turned around. “Keep your head up” was their farewell address. Sadly, they have no idea how blessed I am, nor do they even realize that I left that interaction feeling sorry for them. A Christless life is a life-less life.Anyway, the year of 2015 is upon us all; and though I am unsure of what direction I am to go, I am certain that the direction of upward is the smoothest sail I know.  I’ve been on these seas long enough.  And such winds will never toss you off course when you keep your heart as a compass pointing to the one true north.I am excited for what is on the horizon for Sarah and I.  So please keep “reading” us and we thank you for believing in us.  Onward we go, upward we look!#iCONVICTION
