It’s about that time really. Time to remind myself about some serious declarations. Before the new calendar year changes, of course. Before the count down turns into a count up of sorts. Alright, first things first—it’s important to understand that there should be only one day on all of our calendars. And that’s TODAY! Not yesterday or tomorrow, but TODAY!“My calendar has one day—TODAY!”Today I declare this reSOULution knowing that the greatest souls often have traveled through the greatest sorrows. And no matter what may be happening against us, God is always working for us. Today this truth matters most, not yesterdays ghost or tomorrows boast. But today.Today I declare that I will not compromise my conviction, no matter the situation. Today this is my only determination, not yesterdays reputation or tomorrows prediction. But today.Today I declare that my life is revolutionary, not because it’s my own doing, but this is the Lord’s doing in my life. Today this makes me an example, not yesterdays sample or tomorrows preamble. But today.Today I declare that in the new calendar of my mind, I won’t be resolving to commitment, but rather I will be committed to resolve. A fixed purpose. Today this makes me timeless, not yesterdays "to do" list or tomorrows wish list. But today. In the new calendar year nothing really matters except the day that exists. And that day can only be called “today.” It’s the only time that should be felt, not yesterdays hand dealt or tomorrows plans held. But today! So with all that being said, what’s on your calendar?
