As we reflect on the events of October 7, marking one year since that dark day, we are reminded that Israel’s presence is more than geopolitical—it is prophetic. The God of Israel has preserved them throughout the ages, and no power can remove them from the map He placed them on.
God’s covenant with Israel stands firm, and His redemptive plan will be realized through them, no matter how fiercely the enemy seeks to annihilate her. The attacks on Israel are part of a larger spiritual war, a battle against God's eternal promises. Yet, Israel's existence today is a testament to God's faithfulness—He will not forsake His people. Though there will never be true peace in the Middle East until the Prince of Peace returns, we pray for the peace of Jerusalem, knowing that the fulfillment of God’s promises hinges upon this sacred land.
On this solemn anniversary, we remember the lives lost, the heartbreak, and the unshakable resolve of the Jewish people. We stand with Israel in prayer, recognizing that through her, God’s redemption will unfold. Even in a world of turmoil, Israel remains, because the God of Israel is sovereign. His Word and His covenant endure forever. "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: may they prosper who love you" (Psalm 122:6).
