What is the definition of being unchained? It's being free to think how my Lord thinks. “For who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ” (I Corinthians 2:16). That’s why it is impossible for a nonbeliever to figure out the mind of a believer. A godly man is an enigma. One that counts it joy to fall into various trials, knowing that testing leads to a grade. Graded growth, where A+ faith produces A+ works. That’s why it is written that “faith without works is dead.” Show me your faith without works and I’ll show you my faith by my works. It’s not works that save, but works prove you’re saved. Hence faith that works! And work without faith is too much work. So with the Lord’s mind in mind, it’s not called working but serving. Therefore, let us look to Jesus for not only our calling and purpose, but to see Him as the perfect example of what it looks like to be a Man of service. It is in this perspective and pursuit of the Lord that we experience a life unchained from the mold of the world. "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God" (Romans 12:1-2).Another book project complete, by the grace of God alone.
