YOU DON'T HAVE TO --> YOU GET TO

Some may call it an epiphany, but I choose to call it a symphony, because these thoughts are music to my soul.I didn’t have to write this blog, I got to. I don't have to wake up and get in the Word, I get to. I don’t have to share my heart as I speak in schools, it’s a blessing to.  I don’t have to prepare messages for church, I’ve been called to.We don’t have to do anything in life, but because we have the breath of life, we get to have joy in life. Smiling is easier than frowning. Laughing is more contagious than crying. We don’t have to be lights to those around us, we get to. We get to bless others because we are a blessing. We get to encourage others because we are infused with God’s courage. We get to spend time with Him whenever we please. We get to pray. We get to read. We get to sing. We get to live.I’m learning that the only thing that I have to do is learn that I get to do it.You don’t have to work today, you get to.  You don’t have to pay your bills or buy groceries, you are blessed to.  We are the “get to” people of God that get to do what it is He has created us to do.So get to it today and know that you don’t have to do it, you get to do it.
