Don't carry your cares but cast your cares. You see, to carry them is to be buried by them. But to cast your cares upon the Lord is to be freed from them. "Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7).

Where evil is celebrated, it won't be long before good is persecuted. In other words, when people stray from truth, they will hate those who stand for truth. “If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you" (John 15:18).

The Gospel changes the governance of one's life. We go from being governed by sin to being governed by the Son, from the laws of Babel to the laws of the Bible. "But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life" (Romans 6:22).

As believers in the full counsel of the Bible, whatever we permit, we promote. You see, truth never tolerates a lie; good never celebrates evil; and righteousness never participates in wickedness. "And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them" (Ephesians 5:11).

It is possible to be religious, yet far from righteous; to sacrifice, yet still lack obedience. Thus, let us examine our faith so that we know it's in the right place. "Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know...

God speaks to those who have an ear to hear and He listens to those who have a heart of prayer. "Because He bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath!" (Psalm 116:2)
