The man or woman of God must be willing to stand against the tide, even when it seems the whole world is moving in the opposite direction. You see, faithfulness in the face of opposition is not optional—it's the mark of a true disciple. "But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness,faith, love, patience, gentleness" (1 Timothy 6:11).

Many are missing the writing on the wall because they are not reading and heeding the writing of God’s will. And to be clear, the writing is on the wall. You see, without the knowledge of God's Word, it is impossible to interpret what is happening in our world. As Scripture warns us, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6).

True freedom isn’t found in the pursuit of power or worldly gain but in the surrender to God’s powerful love. You see, when we let the love of Christ rule our hearts, we are liberated from the need to "have more or be more" in the world. Thus, when freed by the power of love, we are freed of the love of power. "For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?" (Matthew 16:26)

If we are not satisfied in the now, we will not be satisfied in the next. You see, if we are discontent with where we are or what we have now, it is unlikely that future possessions or circumstances will bring us lasting fulfillment. Satisfaction of soul can only be found in Christ alone. "Now godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content" (1 Timothy 6:6-8).

If you are not already content with what you have, why would God give you anything more? You see, the person who is content doesn't have the most. Nope. The person who is content is actually the one who needs the least. And such a person can even be in devastating conditions and still see...

Our culture has exchanged holy for hell by trading the truth of God for lies and embracing darkness over light. You see, in a world where what is evil is celebrated and what is good is condemned, we must hold fast to the unchanging Word of God. As Isaiah 5:20 says, "Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!"
