As Christians, we are not voting for the lesser of two evils; we are voting to lessen evil. When we vote, we steward the influence God has entrusted to us, seeking to bring righteousness in our society. Proverbs 29:2 says, "When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when a wicked man rules, the people groan." And our votes are a way to uphold values that reflect His kingdom, even within an imperfect system.

Courage is not the absence of fear but the awareness of Jesus being near. Thus, true courage stands steady against the jaws of the lion—or the jaws of those who are lying. Like Daniel, we’re called to stand firm, even in the face of hostility. Daniel didn’t just survive the lion’s den; he thrived by trusting God, whose power is greater than any threat or deceit around us. Let’s remember, God’s truth protects us, and His Spirit gives us strength to stand unshaken. “Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid... for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you” (Deuteronomy 31:6).

Those who stay true to God’s Word may often find themselves at odds with the world, but this faithfulness is essential. Even when facing opposition or rejection, our loyalty to biblical truth reflects God’s light and sets us apart. And remember, darkness hates the light. "If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you" (John 15:18).

Our world may indeed call good evil and evil good, but God's truth remains unchanging and steadfast through every age. Isaiah 5:20 warns of this reversal of moral values: "Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!" This verse reflects a sobering reality—when a society abandons God’s moral standard, confusion and moral relativism replace divine truth. Yet, no matter how society shifts its definitions, God's Word provides a stable and unchanging foundation: “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8).

In every trial, God is shaping us for a greater purpose. The heat of adversity refines us to reflect His glory. "But He knows the way that I take; when He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold" (Job 23:10).

God’s design for us is not just to exist, but to thrive in the freedom He gives. However, true liberty isn’t found in following our own desires but in aligning our lives with His Word. When we choose His truth, we find real freedom. "If the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed" (John 8:36).
