If our service is not worship, then our service will become worthless. You see, worship will keep you serving, but serving can keep you from worship. Thus, service MUST be worship. "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service" (Romans 12:1).

Evil never stops itself. And that is why we are told, “do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good" (Romans 12:21). And overcoming evil with good begins first by knowing the difference between evil and good. You see, in a day where evil is called good and good is called evil, let us be those who not only know the difference but are willing to make a difference.

To think highly—“how are you serving me?” To think lowly—“how may I serve you?” You see, to think rightly about ourselves is to be able to think rightly about others. "For I say, through the grace given to me,to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith" (Romans 12:3).

God is sorting out the teams. There are only sheep and goats. Sheep know His voice and follow Him at all costs. Goats ignore His voice and rebel against Him which will cost them all. "All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left" (Matthew 25:32-33).

The Lord has ordained and ordered the way of the righteous so that the righteous know the way of the Lord. In other words, it will always be well with the godly. Conversely, the ungodly will always be ill. "For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the ungodly shall perish" (Psalm 1:6).

If we do not serve God where we are, we will not serve Him where we are going. You see, serving the Lord now, in the small or large things, is the prerequisite to serving the Lord in the next thing. "He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much" (Luke 16:10).
