The only One that can satisfy the human soul is the One who made it. The Lord Jesus Christ, "He restores my soul" (Psalm 23:3).

The Bible is the Word of God. Jehovah is the one true God. Jesus is the Son of God. The Gospel is the power of God. The Church is the family of God. Jerusalem is the city of God. And in and through True Israel is the final program of God. And this is why the nations rage and the people plot a vain thing. (See Psalm 2)

It's true that pride creeps in and when it does, it must be snuffed out. So while some say, “swallow your pride.” I say, “don’t even swallow it, spit it out.” You see, the spiritually mature want nothing more than to make less of self and make God more. "Do you see a man wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for him" (Proverbs 26:12). ‍

Never stop telling a dying world about a saving Lord, for He is long-suffering toward us, which means His love is long and His suffering was for us. The world can choose to tune Him out, but the truth is, truth can never be drowned out. Never stop sharing Jesus with others. He is the Truth. "But in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect" (1 Peter 3:15).

Israel has attended the funeral of every nation that has sought to destroy her. The existence of Israel through the ages is evidence of God’s Word being true. "For thus says the Lord of hosts: “He sent Me after glory, to the nations which plunder you; for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye" (Zechariah 2:8).

The world is only getting darker, yet these are the exact conditions for the Christian to shine brighter. And brighter doesn't mean obnoxiously louder, it means righteously bolder. "Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus" (Acts 4:13).
