Psalm 11:3 says, "If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?" The righteous ought to keep doing what’s right in the face of wrong (Romans 12:21), let God’s unchangeable word define right from wrong (Hebrews 5:14), keep speaking right when things are wrong (Proverbs 12:17), and trust that the Lord will one day right every wrong (Romans 12:19). The righteous ought to remember the Lord’s high and heavenly position over our low and earthly conditions. "The Lord is in His holy temple, the Lord’s throne is in heaven; His eyes behold, His eyelids test the sons of men" (Psalm 11:4).
